Today (30 Sep 2024), Dr. Opas Karnkawinpong, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Public Health, revealed the case of the outbreak of H5N1 bird flu in the United States that from the data there have been continuous reports of H5N1 bird flu in poultry and dairy cows over the past year, with the bird flu virus detected in wild birds in 51 states, in farmed poultry in 48 states, and in dairy farms in 14 states.
